It was bought by its current owners and repaired in the 1980s and now serves as a popular bar and grill. However, the ship still retains its sunken look in the lower levels in order to acknowledge the Frying Pan's long history.

My daughter works at the Intrepid and we were looking for a casual place to get a quick bite to eat, on the water and Google maps directed us here. Pub fare and seafood. Some vegetarian options. You order your food at the bar, get a buzzer, then pick up your food at the kitchen counter. Drinks are fabulous and the atmosphere was fun and young.
