Dude this place is FANTASTIC at what they do. I was on the 3rd floor and it felt much more like summer camp than it did a psych ward. The nurses were amazing, groups really did help, they nailed my meds first try, AND the food wasn’t horrible. I would 100% recommend this hospital. Especially if you have nurse Sarah, she is truly the best. She noticed me biting my nails and gave me a full manicure so I would resist the urge, I still haven’t bitten them.
Joke spent time here in 2015 good luck getting out !!!!!! I had to threaten them saying I would get a lawyer to get out
Horrible! Went to pick someone up who was being discharged and was told there were no discharge orders for him. 30 minutes later, I'm told, oops! Ha ha! Sorry we had two patients mixed up. I mean, SERIOUSLY! Makes you wonder what other things get mixed up.
Even though I went here voluntarily, the staff informed me that I was under an involuntary hold and it would be even longer if I did not comply and take all of the medications I was prescribed by their staff. I am personally against Big Pharma and overmedicating. Staff are cold, callous and jaded. The one exception is Dr. McCain. He was the one bright spot in this place.
