The Frugal Frigate has got to be the inspiration for The Shop Around the Corner from You've Got Mail. Simply the BEST Childrens bookstore in So Cal...if not the country. Amazing selection of books for all ages and stages, the friendliest staff, and the best storytimes and special events!!!

Our 'world' needs more independent book stores, and Children's ones are magical, like Frugal Frigate! I'm also one that loves to support small and local businesses. Yes, you may find a book for a bit less money elsewhere online, but please consider visiting a fun shop, discovering more interesting books, and making a purchase to help keep these type of shops open for our enjoyment! It's the simple things!
