Lovely place to visit and have a nice time with friends, the water is clean, definitely will come back
I cannot say enough nice things about our day!! The place is beautiful. CLEAN. You park, you are helped to load your stuff, get on school bus. You then get into a fast moving line to get checked in and your things searched (made me feel safe!) Then ready for a fabulous day! honestly the staff was over the top, helpful, friendly. I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this one was worth sharing. We visited last year on the Fourth of July under the previous owners and had an amazing experience. It was clean, well-organized, and a lot of fun, so we decided to come back this year. Unfortunately, under the new ownership, our experience was completely different, and we won't be returning. Amazing, Peaceful, and Relaxing. The cleanest quarry I've ever seen. No one under 18 and no alcohol, which is perfect for a relaxing time floating around. There are some big rocks and a platform to jump off as well, if you choose! The staff is awesome. They have a spot to grab tacos, hotdogs, and assumedly pizza sometimes too. They didn't have any today. There's a drink shack as well, and if you bring a drink cup/container, there's free COLD water by every bathroom. They even sell tube floats and other things if you need.
