I had a teacher inservice, and they provided food trucks for us. Cupcake Allie showed up, and by the time I got there, all that was left was the pecan pie cupcake. I can honestly say, that was the best cupcake I have ever had. Very delicious!!!!!
I had my first cupcake at Hollydays and it was the worst:( I bought red velvet and golden vanilla. The red velvet was bitter and the golden vanilla was very bland. I was also surprised at how small they were compared to others that I've had.
First of all, thank you for coming out last night to help support the Walker High School Band of Legacy! I purchased a 4 pk of your cupcakes and after getting home, wished I had gotten a 6 pk. The pecan pie cupcake is TO DIE FOR!!! So moist and so much flavor. I love pecan pie but have trouble eating it because it's SO sweet. The cupcake had just the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing, but still had that great pecan pie flavor. Can't wait to try the Death by Chocolate and Wedding Cake today! We were in Baton Rouge at a meeting and saw Cupcake Allie so decided to try it. We travel a lot and try to stop at all cupcake stores wherever we are. We purchased a chocolate and a pecan cupcake which were recommended by the clerk. They were both stale, dense and not good at all. I would not return to Cupcake Allie.
I met Allie today at Calandro's off Siegen and Perkins. I bought the Back Allie bananas foster cake bites. Absolutely delicious!!! I will try the other "back" flavors. You've got talent, lady!
