We have been a client for 9 years. They changed the Customer Service department recently and it has gone downhill. I called for continuous false alarms in our smoke sensor (4 alarms within 30 minutes with zero smoke) and the two agents I talked to had zero clue on how to fix it. The communication gap is also very frustrating and the service call takes so much longer than normal - 15 mins for the 1st agent, plus an additional 35 mins for the 2nd agent. My alarm went off for 10 minutes and no one called. I called customer service and was told my panel has not been active since 2022; I’ve been a customer since 2013. Been making my payments every month and my system has been down for 4 YEARS! All I got is sorry for the inconvenience. I've had & appreciated Frontpoint Security Service for over five years. Then, on Feb. 18, there was a fire in the apartment building where I resided with my precious son. We located to a hotel. I spoke with a Frontpoint rep. about suspension of my payments, then I decided to cancel. The company charged my account for March and April when I was at the hotel- not using their service. Frontpoint is down right predatory. Just cancelled my service because I have to move (that been with the company for 8 years). They moved me to a lower rate because our system is 8 years old. When cancelling, they charged me an extra month (which is their policy and I’m cool with it), but they doubled my last month. I have been with this company for 10 years, their sales department seems to be overseas so NO ONE undestand English when I call. This company was one of the best and slowly losing that status.
