They use Alarm.com/Qolsys equipment which is prone to become defective after some time and trigger false alarms, and when this happens on a Friday night at 3:00am their monitoring center calls you to verify whether it's an actual emergency, but when you tell them it's a false alarm due to a defective sensor they transfer you to a voice mail box that tells you to call back on Monday, and you're left on your own trying to figure out how to stop the alarm. I have been customer of Frontpoint security system for the past 10+ years. I'm extremely satisfied with the service I've received, besides being prompt in responding, they are extremely patient, courteous, efficient. BEWARE We originally had Iwatch security for 2 years, and without warning from either company Front point took over. Never sent an email or a phone call saying that the company would be switching over. Then when we had to change our card information we couldn’t since they had LOCKED us out of our account. Unable to get into our account we had to call them. The call lasted 4 hrs long, before finally getting someone that could help with our situation. I've had this company for more than 10 years now I think, and I have to say the monitoring price has remained fair, the equipment, modern, and, the best thing of all is that if I have to call tech for any reason, (rare) technical assistance personnel are patient, they are kind, and they guide you through to 100% satisfactory resolution.
