For the last 20 years Frontier has slowly acquired the better part of the block facing Central Avenue across from the UNM campus. There is no place on earth like the Frontier. Come for the ample portions of great food and stay for the funky Western vibe and unequaled people-watching. Never miss it on my way through town.
The Frontier Restaurant is a "must go to" eating establishment each and every time that I visit Albuquerque, NM! The Frontier offers excellent southwestern favorites: "To Die For" green chili stew, tacos, and enchiladas, as well as great breakfast foods, the best buttered, cinnamon sweet roll ever, and SO much more. This 4-giant room eatery provides spacious eating comfort, excellent food, and the perfect opportunity for "people watching" in beautiful Albuquerque!

Love love love the food and the atmosphere! The employees are friendly, there is always a table no matter how busy it is, and the cinnamon rolls are the best in the world!

My Mom and I are visiting my sister for the holidays and she took us to Frontier Restaurant for dinner one evening...all i can say is good food and the cinnamon rolls were delish!!!
By far the best comfort food in New Mexico. Everything fresh and homemade as well as affordable and unpretentious.
Food was good! Service quick! Even got burritos and cinnamon rolls to go, and they were good also!
