For the last 20 years Frontier has slowly acquired the better part of the block facing Central Avenue across from the UNM campus. AWESOME!!!! Best food in Albuquerque, if not the entire world!!!!
If you are looking for New Mexico comfort food, come here. Also sufficiently quirky, and open most of the hours. I think they may be closed for, like, 3 or 4 hours a day.
I think we got our hopes too high. We've got spot near us, Old West Cinnamon Rolls in Pismo Beach California, way better
Stopped by on way back to Kansas. Wife had enchilada plate and I had burrito plate. Also bought 20 dozen tortillas to take back for family and friend. Also got a cinnamon roll for the road. Only make it to Moriarty before snow stopped us.
The food was super yummy. The service was acceptable. We got our food decently fast for 1 am. Wasn't too excited about the cops approaching us because a couple of homeless dudes told then my friend and I were buying them food, however that had nothing to do with the restaurant, just the location. Single ladies be careful!
