I have found that when parents are having problems with a teenager 16 years old.. that it seems that they drag their feet in getting them the proper help that they need. This child has been cutting self,taking overdoses of medication, has ran away several times and is only seeing a therapist instead of the physiatrist or getting the child place where she will have to go by rules that the parents can not get her to do !
