Frontera Grill is the sister establishment of the more well known, Topolobampo next door. Both restaurants are from the celebrated Chef Rick Bayless, however this spot focuses more on casual dining. What a fun and full flavored experience! Attention to detail, even the chips were perfect. I can not wait to come here again.
We got in at 11:30 AM open time we sat down didn't get approached for the first 10 minutes they just brought water left the menus and left didn't get approached by the waiter at all until after the long wait overall the food is great very good food but the service at first sucked but the food is unbelievable even though Rick Bayless was there I thought service should be a little better.
Have been here a few times and never disappointed! One of our favorite restaurants in The City!!!
Everything we had was delicious, from the guacamole to my wife's shrimp Mojo, and my skate Wing Milanesa. No room for dessert unfortunately.
Loved the atmosphere, the cuisine, and the experience. Did not love the $30 margarit that I ordered. Make sure to checked the price for that. Although the drink was good, no drink is worth $30. Food was fantastic and the service was spectacular.
