We chose Frontenac Tree Service on a 'word of mouth' recommendation from a friend who was very satisfied. We had eight rather large trees to come down and Nathan, the long time owner showed up with a couple of sturdy young men who clearly seemed to enjoy their work! A couple of large trees were quite tricky in relation to my house proximity and my neighbours shed, but clearly experienced men resulted in every single tree landing exactly where it was supposed to land with no collateral damage. Nathan and his team did an amazing job removing a 100+yr old maple that was rotting down the middle. This tree was located 10 feet from the front corner of the house, approximately 20ft from animal fencing and in between a power line and a phone line. Nathan dropped the bulk of this tree in one piece without any damage to any of these obstacles. Was very impressive to see. Stump was ground to prevent it regrowing. Nathan and his team were prompt with communication, showed up and performed the removal on time, cleaned up the site, and all in a snowstorm and rain! 100% would recommend.
I just can't say enough good things about Frontenac Tree Service. I had a dangerous very old cracked and rotted Poplar tree standing 10 ft from our bedroom roof line. Two other tree services did not return my call even when described how dangerous this tree was. Frontenac Tree Service- A) answers their phone, B) will ask for photos if it is a dangerous tree to triage you, C) come ASAP when they need to. "We're incredibly grateful to Nathan and his team for their seamless and professional work in taking down two very big spruce trees that sadly had needle cast and was not salvageable. They also completed pruning and cabling of a large maple. They made it look so easy, and their presence was barely noticeable, except for the missing trees. The cleanup was done exceptionally well, leaving everything spotless.
