My wife found Dr. Christiansen to be very thorough, diagnosed her very well and explained the diagnosis nicely, and was very kind. Just
Dr. Christiansen and I share patients that go between Houston and Denver/Colorado Springs. He always updates me on the patients. The patients have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. I'm glad to have someone to refer to in the Denver area.
I had a torn macula due to vitriol traction in my left eye. It started with a flash of light then wavy vision. Dr Christiansen got me into surgery right away. His explanation put me at ease. The eye is healing nicely. The staff was friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for anything more.

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. Despite paying for a dilated eye exam, he never explained how my eyes actually looked or discussed any findings. I had to ask him as he was already trying to leave the room, at which point he simply said, “Your eyes are fine.” That was the entirety of the explanation. He spent no more than 3–4 minutes with me and did not take the time to hear my medical history or concerns beyond a few seconds.
