Update: After posting this review, Dr. Christiansen called me to follow up and answer some of my questions. I appreciated his call and that he wanted to ensure I felt heard. Great experience with this office. They're always so caring and listen. Staff and doc are welcoming and friendly
I had a torn Macula due to vitriol traction in my left eye. It started with a sharp pain that went away instantly and a flash of light. The vision got wavy in that eye over the next few days. Don't wait if this happens. Dr Christiansen was very informative, put me at ease and got me into surgery right away. The eye is healing nicely, the staff was friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Dr. Christiansen is brilliant. He has helped me tremendously with my vision and understanding of retinal conditions. His staff is always nice and professional. I would give him 10 stars.
I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. Despite paying for a dilated eye exam, he never explained how my eyes actually looked or discussed any findings. I had to ask him as he was already trying to leave the room, at which point he simply said, “Your eyes are fine.” That was the entirety of the explanation. He spent no more than 3–4 minutes with me and did not take the time to hear my medical history or concerns beyond a few seconds.
