I went here for my annual eye exam. At the end of the exam, I was told by Dr. Fromer herself that everything was fine & that she would see me in one year. However, I was very surprised when my general doctor called me concerned about the report they received. First the reason for the visit had changed to something I never wrote & then the report had all these findings that were never mentioned to me by Dr. Fromer. I don't know what goes on in this place but I will never go back.
We brought my grandmother in for a refraction eye exam for a new eyeglass prescription, which she has had done before at this location, as well as for a comprehensive eye check-up. We also brought my grandmother's glasses along to check the prescription. When we got into the exam room, we were surprised to be told that she could *not* get a refraction exam for her eyeglass prescription, and could *only* do the annual wellness exam for her eyes. I had a great experience at Fromer Eye Center. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the technicians were knowledgeable and thorough. Dr. Andrew Garcia took the time to explain everything and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this office for anyone needing eye care!
Do not go here. If you can go to Park Avenue, or do not mind going to Harlem, go anywhere but here. The front desk staff was incredibly rude and the site itself looks like the machines, or anything in it, do not work. So far, the nicest site is Park Avenue and Harlem goes in 2nd place. Both customer service, and site aesthetics are satisfactory. This site, in Scarsdale, falls far behind.
