I had a mammogram on 6/28/24 and 2 weeks later I still have not received the results. Froedtert - RAYUS Radiology billed my insurance and my insurance paid the claim on 7/4/24. Today is 7/12/24 and when I called to inquire about my results, I was informed that the results have not been read due to the clinic being short-staffed on radiologists. This is truly an unacceptable approach to providing care to patients.
I have had to use this radiology department more than I care to remember in the last several years and have met with nothing but cheerful, experienced folks from the moment I walk into the front door until I leave.
Just had my first mammogram + ultrasound after detecting something abnormal and the team was absolutely fantastic. To the receptionists at the front to the wonderful mammo tech (Cheyenne!) and the u/s tech (Therese!) - they were exceptional and so kind and made me way less nervous, even if bad news was coming (it didn't ). Thank you so very much for the work you do and the way you care for your patients. I had a great experience even though the appt was for a crummy reason and it was 1000% because of this team.
