Blood draws are typically average here, and the wait time is usually minimal. That said, I had a very unprofessional interaction during a COVID test. The staff member performing the nasal swab told me I was “lucky” she didn’t need to go far up the nasal passage. After the swab, when I commented, “That wasn’t bad,” she responded, “I could make it hurt if you want me to!” That kind of remark is completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a healthcare environment. The people are always kind and very professional. I never have to worry about walking into this lab and walking out like a human pincushion. I drive quite a ways just to go to that specific lab.
