When I tell you Dr. Pierre is absolutely the best surgeon I've EVER encountered, he found and fixed a problem that I had struggled with for many years after a previous surgery. I was hospitalized three times after my procedure, and each time I saw his face, he was very attentive. He came to my hospital room twice daily, as well as his assistant, even before my procedure. I saw him plenty of times; this man is nothing short of AMAZING. I would choose him again and again. The staff was also amazing.

I have had two surgeries with Dr. Jean-Pierre: a duodenal switch and a hiatal hernia repair. Both surgeries were done in reasonable time, with great results. He always takes time to listen to concerns and questions, and he always takes the time to answer the concerns and questions fully to my satisfaction.
My daughter had bariatric surgery with Dr JP, we were very pleased with him until 8/9 months after the procedure. She had severe acid reflux and we made several calls to his office to get her help. The office finally called us back and said that they were going to schedule a procedure for Dr. JP to go in and see why she was having this issue. I explained to them that she was unable to eat and loosing weight. We never were called back, I even called them about 3 weeks ago to let them know we may not have them on our insurance... read more

Excellent surgeon and explains after care very well. I love that he's down to earth and really cares.
He is an AMAZING surgeon!
Very good surgeon. However after your first visit, if he approves surgery, he is unavailable leaving your health to a “scheduler” and a nurse. If I am going to the OR for serious surgery and I have questions, the nurse cannot communicate correctly. Recent personnel changes in his office were political. Again, OUTSTANDING and EXTREMELY TALENTED SURGEON. Just take a picture, you’ll never see him again.
