My daughter LOVED her speech therapists. Katie Stoneman and Carrie Trimarco constantly kept my daughter engaged by coming up with new activities to help her improve her speech. She saw them twice a week, and they were great about scheduling and working with me on any scheduling changes. I also appreciated the weekly updates I received as to what goals my daughter was working on and how she was progressing towards those goals.
Ms. Stoneman & her associates are amazing! They are incredibly knowledgeable and know exactly how to tune into your child to get the best and quickest results possible. My 5 year old son was quite delayed in articulation and it was difficult for his peers and teachers to understand him. He has made incredible progress and Ms. Stoneman has taught me a lot about speech and how it effects the rest of his learning and reading skills. Within one month of seeing Ms. Stoneman, my 2-year-old son with a severe speech delay started showing immediate, positive results. He really responds to Katie's approach; she is able to keep him focused, interested, and engaged for the entirety of their sessions. After seeing a different SLP for several months with no results, we are extremely excited to see and hear the difference in our son thanks to Ms. Stoneman!
After spending months working on her "r's" with her 3rd grade teachers with no progress, my daughter was matched up with Katie. In just a few short weeks, she had all her sounds down and the confidence that it gave her was amazing. And to top it off, my daughter loved working with Katie.
My son Logan, was lucky enough to have Mrs. Stoneman as his speech therapist for two years in elementary school. She worked with him regularly and although he was sad when he graduated from Speech, he was excited about using the tools she provided him.
