ewwwwwwwww – We have gotten food poisening from this disgusting resteraunt several times. There is a very rude and disrespectful manager named nestor and some very rude employees. They are not dressed properly and are allways out in the parking lot smoking. We have heard arguing between employees and managers right out in front where everyone can see them and hear them. Go to Frisch's for your favorites – I've eaten at various Frisch's over many years. They do some things well, and the rest we don't worry about. We eat at many fine restaruants, but sometimes you just want to go out for some basic home cooking. This chain fills a lack of one thing in the midwest - the traditional diner. If you go out east, there are diners everywhere that sell cheap home cooked food. In Ohio, you have Frisch's and a few other places. Frisch's is very poor quality food – As a child I used to eat at Big boy all the time (another city) I tried a burger and fries. In a word it is dog food. Soy in the burger and old fowl oil for the fries. I was shocked this place is in business. I could not eat it as I am not a dog.
Unfair treatment in the workplace – I have been an employee at Frischs since Oct of last year. I opened up the restaurant in Dayton, Ohio. I had been a certified trainer for most of my time there. I have never worked at a restaurant where the management is so disrespectful to their employees and it is condoned by higher management. The employees of managements choice run the restaurant there. i worked there going on 4 yrs. and got fired vickie southward is the worst boss that there is she is always talking about the gossip that people do and 9 times out of 10 she is the one that does it. i feel really bad for the ones that still work there and have to kiss her ass.
