Troy and I always love a visit to Friendswood Hardware. At this time of the year we are on the prowl for items to make our backyard more friendly. We have purchased little perching nests for the little wrens, sparrows and chickadees to rest for a while. We found a beautiful ceramic feeder which is both practical and a piece of art. The perfect small-town hardware store - family owned and operated, and everybody who works there knows what they have and how to use it. Tell them your problem and they'll tell you how to fix it, even if they don't stock the item you need. Stop here first before going to the big box. You will like it!
