RecommendedI started my journey with Friendship Village of Kalamazoo in February of 2018. Since then my mother has been in the Rehabilitation Center, Independent Living and Assisted Living. During this time the administration and support staff have listened to our needs, accommodated our individual differences, shared their professional opinion and supported our decisions. Because of this I highly recommend Friendship Village to anyone who is looking for a caring, positive and kind atmosphere for their loved one.
I have worked for Freindship Village for over six years now. we have team members that Have been here longer than that that says a lot the residence here are the best in the world. I wouldn’t want to work for any other company! To experience the joy of being here you need to live here or work here.

After waiting for some time, we have moved into Friendship Village. It is truly a Village in and of itself. It is beautiful and extremely well kept. From those to whom we were initially introduced, Mr. Ellar and Ms. Haan, to the varied Independent Living residents, we were so very warmly and enthusiastically welcomed. I quite suddenly and unexpectedly became guardian for a relative. The decisions that needed to be made were a bit overwhelming - financial, emotional, health wise. The staff at Friendship Village listened, encouraged and provided information that allowed me to make a decision that has turned out to be an exceptional one. My grandfather was misappropriated by his caregiver here I strongly suggest keeping your loved ones away!
I strongly suggest staying away from this place. My grandfathers caregiver here Daniel Keyes attempted setting up legally to reap my grandfathers estate as well as set him up with hospice services my grandfather didn’t even know of even though he was still in control of all his own independent decisions. They had him alone in a room on the independent side on hospice. A procedure was done to my grandfather with out any body’s knowledge leaving a large hole in his burned down into the 3rd layer of skin. I quit my job and brou... read more
