I called 4 times spoke to advocate and they each promised someone would call me back. No one ever did. They are really choosy about people they help. It seems to me like they’re their friends.
What a joke
I had a situation where my neighbor tried to kill me and the friendship center said they would give me an advocate for my restraining order hearing. I had no idea what to expect going into the hearing and my advocate did not meet with me until 10 minutes before the hearing. I lost on the merit of not presenting an argument, because again I had no idea what to expect. They promised to help prepare me and they screwed me over.
