Best steak I've had in a while and my husband's fish was amazing. We will definitely try again if we come back here. Our waitress was the best.
We have eaten here since before Ron Howard and crew ate here while filming the movie "Cocoon". We used to frequent the place in the past while on vacation in St. Pete. We have since moved to Florida but on the east coast. This past weekend we decided to take a road trip to see my wife's Aunt who is in an assisted living there. Stopped to eat before heading home. The food was excellent, but the portion size was small for the price. The service was pretty good but not a 5. I would return. The key lime pie was superb!
The broiled grouper was delicious! I needed a GF meal and they came through. I would have given 5 �s but the enthusiasm had waned in the place. (Must have been the end of the year!)
Had a nice meal on the dock ... We would go back..
Was pleasantly surprised when my charbroiled grouper arrived and it was really grouper. Too many times I have ordered grouper and heaven knows what was served.. SO, I immediately removed the bun, and all the condiments so that I could enjoy that lovely filet.
Our 1st time in the area to DJ for a wedding. Almost ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and told the waitress to please make sure there wasn't any conch/imitation crab meat because I would have ended up going to the hospital if it wasn't authentic crab meat. She took the time to make a call to be absolutely sure. Opted for the fresh garden salad instead and my wife had chicken tenders which were also fresh, breaded and cooked PERFECTLY.
