Hands down, the best meat and three we've come across since moving to the Birmingham area. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken is to die for! Nice staff, clean and quick service, even if there is a line. We'll be back soon!!!
I always crave southern foods. And this restaurant has it. I loved their rolls!! Very buttery! Service is great!

The best southern cooking restaurant in Birmingham, al I've ever been to!!!! Very friendly staff, establishment extremely clean, and food is delicious just like mom's Everyone in Birmingham should try this place and I do mean EVERYONE!!!! If you live in Birmingham and you haven't been here Yet YOU DEFINITELY DON'TKNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!!!!!!!
Had lunch here today for the first time and everything was excellent! Between my husband and I, we had fried chicken, mac&cheese, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, roll and cornbread, and chocolate chess pie. Everything was delicious - the best, in fact, that we have had in a long time. Dining room was clean and inviting, service was fast and friendly, and food was fresh and hot. We will definitely be return customers!
Delicious chicken n dumplings! My daughter loved the Mac and Cheese.
Love the food but I hate those little plastic bowls with the ridges in the bottom. Bottom of bowls make it impossible to get all the food out (like mashed potatoes). I have been a regular customer since it opened and think it is an excellent addition to the area. Both fried and Greek Style chicken is excellent.
