Don't take a Hyundai to him he has no clue how to fix them he said my engine was blown when really it was a timing belt and a pulley my car sat there for for over a month and all he did was take stuff off my car that didn't need to come off like the power steering my radiator hoses and other stuff and I still have the pictures to prove it so I had it towed to a Hyundai dealership so they could fix it it cost me almost $1,000 to fix it because they had to disassemble & reassemble the entire engine just to figure out what was ... read more
Before choosing a mechanic, please read this review!!!... We were out of town on vacation, when the power steering went out on our truck while pulling our camper. Wanna give a shout out to FRICKE's AUTO & TRUCK Repair for helping my momma out. Her car started acting up, she took it to them & Chris checked it out. He was blatantly honest with her about the life of the car that was left. He also told her about a car he had recently had at his lot that was for sale & she was able to get a new car. They are a prime example of superb customer service, in my opinion. Honest with their customers, knowledgeable & also willing to help someone find a car!
I’m from Mansfield, on my way to Portsmouth this week and my car started making a loud noise. I got off 71 at the route 95 exit, not sure what to do. AAA was not much help as there are no AAA places around. Long story short, I called my cousin who lives outside Mt Gilead, and she recommended Fricke’s auto and truck repair.
