It was charming, and the Fondue Dinner we had was wonderful.
The hostess was terrible. Said they absolutely could not seat us. Actually there was room in the bar area. And btw, their bartender was one of the best Ive seen in years. He tended bar and served food, and did it all with a smile.
Really enjoyed the evening at Friars Tuck’s Saturday. I ordered the oriental smoked trout salad with mixed greens and rice nce noodles with Asian dressing. The smoked trout was delicious but the olives and tomatoes with the asian dressing my taste buds were very annoyed those flavors don’t taste good at all. And there were no rice noodles in my salad I was so surprised. I wished I could have had a better experience at Friar Tuck’s. We had a fabulous dinner and the kindest waitress. Nevada City is my husbands home town where he grew up as a boy. So we will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend Friar Tuck's Restaurant.
Over the top wonderful. Had fondue. Hadn't had for years. Tucks has been my go to place since 1979. Julie has been our waitress for 28 of those years. My grandsons 10 and 12 just love it.
