RecommendedAfter 30 minutes of seeking a place out in NC, we decided on Friar Tucks. The name suggests to me that it would be more bar food. The menu was diverse and had quite a few options. Between our server, the manager, and all the support staff, we had a seamless experience. Tina did an amazing job handling our 4 kids. We'll definitely be going back to try that prime rib.

It's been almost 20 years, but it's still great. Had cocktails, wine and fondue for dinner with great conversation in a great romantic environment. We'll remember it!!!!!
Never got our order. 3rd party in, the other 3 people in our party got their order. Ours came out 1 at a time, with 3 things not even making it to the table, and one was BREAD! How sad! Then the person (I won’t say lady, no lady) sitting next to us, gets involved. WTF! If this is how the residents of Nevada City behave, no thanks! Get your act together!!!!
