Get directionsSo disappointing! I told my husband we were staying in a luxury resort! It was simply the opposite! Cabin so small….nothing like advertised on the internet. Hardly room for 2 people to move! 4 k dirt track in and out of the Resort. Restricted menu in Japanese Restaurant hardly suitable for the Tasmanian wilderness. Long drive to Coles Bay for meals. Loving my stay and the food at the restaurant is very good. The staff are great and very helpful. A little costly I feel but a very good short get away.
Incredibly disappointing hotel. The cabins charge premium price, but are incredibly small. The bathroom is tiny. DO NOT STAY HERE. Literally anywhere else in Freycinet is a better deal for the cost and location
We stayed here in January. Lovely location but a hotel under renovation charging high luxury hotel prices. Grounds not maintained and building materials everywhere. Accommodation was a Big4 cabin at best with a hot water service at your front door, not even a king bed rather two single put together. Come back in 3 years it might match the quality marketing they have put behind it. The owner has invested in art and a grand entrance before the accommodation and main areas. We absolutely loved our 2-night stay at the Freycinet Resort last week. We stayed in one of the new bush retreat cabins, which was very private and had a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, modern bathroom and a very large bedroom with an extremely comfortable king size bed. Our booking included breakfast, which was comprised of a great range of granola and cereals, yoghurt, bread, juices as well as a choice of cooked breakfasts.
