Perfect location to explore Freycinet and unplug from city life… all staff are well-trained and professional. A warm bowl of umami-packed chicken mushroom congee to start the day alongside breakfast station can’t be any more perfect start of our East Coast adventure!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt dort. Exklusive Lage mit einigen wenigen Hütten. Komfortabele und ansprechende Zimmerausstattung. Wir haben nur eine Übernachtung gebucht. Leider war der Nachthimmel nach dem Regen bedeckt, so dass wir das Teleskop und den Fernglas nicht benutzt haben. Aber Kängurus konnten wir vor unserer Terrasse lange beobachten. Der japanische Feuertopf Shabu Shabu war sehr lecker. Und das Frühstück mit warmen Eierspeisen und Option eines japanischen Reisbreies rundet den ganzen Aufenthalt ab.

In general, the hotel and the dinner were both overpriced. But I understand the reason of the high cost because it’s up in the mountain. The drive to the hotel (4km gravel road) was not a pleasant experience because you wouldn’t expect the road leading to such a luxurious hotel was gravel road. I would be much convinced if I was driving to a camping site. In the room, there is a telescope and a mini kitchen. The design is cozy and modern, but in general, the room is small in size.
