My daughter and I went to Fresh Pita for the first time. It is directly across the street from Waterman Lake. There is outdoor and indoor seating with a nice water view. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE!! We were offered a sample of both the beef & lamb shawarma and the chicken shawarma. I got the beef and my daughter got the chicken. We took a shot on this place that what was jokingly described as a "gas station sandwich shop" by a friend. I'm sure the locals are aware of the food here but it's incredibly good. Fresh tasting, the pitas are light and airy and the meat is beautifully seasoned. But the winning component is the SAUCE. Had a chicken shawarma that was filling without being heavy and leaving you feeling sluggish and the flavors just pop. I think there's another one in Smithfield but this one was worth a 15 mile ride for us
