I just got a gel manicure and a pedicure there. For starters, their gel colors don’t match the books. I wanted a dark burgundy sparkle and ended up with bright red sparkly nails. Secondly, the women who was attending me kept my hands in the UV lights FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. She kept tugging my hand rudely, and then she started speaking in her native language while constantly putting my hands deeply into the UV machine. I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years now and I go every two weeks spending 150-200 every two weeks. I went back today to change my nail color because I realized I didn’t like the color I got yesterday as much. I told them I would pay the difference problem. I tipped $20 yesterday and even though it felt like they are treating me differently for wanting to change my nail color I still decided to tip $15 today. I came here recently for an acrylic removal, and I’m honestly devastated by what happened. During the process, the technician kept shaving down my nails so aggressively that the entire top layer was removed. I repeatedly told them it was painful, and while they paused for a moment, they went right back to doing the same thing on every nail.
