Fresh House is worth the drive. We love the fresh house, everything from the homemade potato chips all the way to the homemade ice cream made on the hit/stop John Deere Tractor Engine.
Fresh House The Fresh House is probably the best country kitchen that I ahve ever been to! It dosnt matter if you are in the mood for a tasty salad, a big juicy burger, or a hearty country fried steak, The fresh house has it and perfectsthe dish to the "T". They also have a great kids menu, which any picky eater would love! And for the sweet tooth in everybody, the have a desert bar that is to die for! With the best service in town, The Fresh House is deffinately gonna be a tough one to beat!
Fresh House is home away from home! The food is marvelous - down home good cooking that leaves you satisfied every single time. But what makes the difference for us from all the other eateries in Charlotte and surrounding area is the establishment's "personality"! Dave, his wife Robin and their staff are especially friendly. Great! We love Fresh House! They have great food at reasonable prices. There's also a cute little store with all kinds of neat goodies! They have a childrens area where the kids can keep themselves entertained with toys while waiting on the meals to arrive! Good service and friendly atmosphere!
3-strikes your out I just don't get it all the love for the Fresh House. The place is always busy so you would assume they have good food but I have eaten there three times and each time has been a disappointment. The last time, we ordered two fish dinners to go. I was first shocked by the cost - $22! I could have dealt with that if the fish had been "Fresh" but it wasn't. My guess is the fish had been in the freezer uncovered and had dried out. Fabulous! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. The food is fresh, hot and home-cooked. Great atmosphere. The staff is friendly and right on time with food and refills. One of our favorite places to eat!
Good Ol' Fashion Restaurant and Shop The Fresh House is like a hometown Cracker Barrell! They serve great home cookin' made fresh daily and have a neat little shop where you can buy fun things from the past from food to toys. The customer service is one-of-a-kind with southern hospitality at its best!
FRESH is Good The Fresh House I cannot say enough good about. They even offer take out if you dont feel like a sit down inside evening. I always order the squash when they have it. Fried squash is so hard to find anywhere but they have it. They have some wonderful Fried pork chops and the steaks are out of this world. Fast and freindly staff and service just makes this place the BEST ALL AROUND.
I found this gem of a restaurant on the map traveling from Raleigh to Charlotte. My son needed a good meal before a soccer match. He said the club sandwich has to be the best thing on the planet. We loaded up on bakery items too. I would highly, highly recommend The Fresh House!!! I know where we will be stopping every time we have to travel through to Charlotte. LOVE IT!!!!!!
