Plantar fasciitis had been a problem for me for about a year. While I was ready to have relief from the pain of plantar fasciitis, I was a bit skeptical and anxious from the thought of the needles used in acupuncture. I had never tried acupuncture before but have always been open to different methods of healing. On the very first visit, Melissa made me feel very comfortable and explained what would occur and the goal(s). Acupuncture is very relaxing and I feel it is helping with my issue(s). Melissa is so friendly, I look forward to each session.
I have seen several acupuncturist. When I found Melissa the experience was wonderful. I have fibromyalgia and years ago I saw the instructor at the Racine hospital and found great relief after some treatments. Melissa has given me the same experience. My body has recovered and she has made me so happy.
Melissa is the third accupuncturist I've worked with and, by far, the best. If there were a 6-star rating, I'd give her one. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, gentle and is highly invested in giving the best treatment possible. Her treatments are pain-free and extremely relaxing. Over the years, I've worked with a variety of different acupuncturists - I've always enjoyed acupuncture, and the results I've had. I didn't at all expect the speed and depth of results that I have received under Melissa's care! I've had a number of chronic symptoms during my adult life, and even more after the birth of my daughter.
