This place is completely disrespectful of patients’ time and health. They call people in as if they’re ready, but when you arrive you’re left sitting and waiting for two hours or more with no explanation. For a dialysis center where patients are already struggling this level of disorganization and lack of care is unacceptable. It feels like they simply don’t value the people they’re supposed to help. Save yourself the stress and frustration and go somewhere else.
Let me start with this: most of the nurses, the receptionist Melissa, and the social worker Debbie are WONDERFUL. They work 12-18 hour days, with terrible compensation, inadequate or broken equipment for older and disabled patients and their families who are all in terrible moods because...well, kidney failure sucks and it's hard to be anything other than a pain in the you-know-what when you're just sick of being sick or worried about your loved one...the COMPANY however NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR POLICIES!!! I am very disappointed with the care my mother has been receiving at this clinic. For several days, I have repeatedly informed the nurse that, according to vascular surgeon Dr khan instructions, my mother’s fistula in her hand should be used. However, every time I drop her off for treatment, they ignore these directions and continue to use a catheter instead. This location needs to open a new entrance. My 5-year-old almost was hit by one of the employee’s husbands. This has been going on for years. The kids cannot wait for the bus without an employee/patient desperately trying to get to the building. I’m so livid that when the employees husband was confronted, he carelessly brushed it off. The bus was pulling up when they decided to turn in fast while kids were starting to walk.
