Although we've lived in Carlsbad for many years, and have eaten at many of the downtown restaurants, we had never eaten at Fresco Trattoria. We went there for a casual dinner and had their Halibut special. It was excellent.
I have taken my wife for Valentines twice to this restaurant and it has been a good experience. Good food and nice

Delicious food, and attentive service. A wonderful find for both a Valentine's & Birthday dinner so far from home. We'll be going back next time we get down to the Carlsbad area.
