This was a very pleasant experience with a special mention to Ms. Evet. She is the perfect host here to serve not only the great food but a family friendly kindness along with your meal that makes you feel at home. Feeling so far away from mine she made my day and you won't regret supporting this wonderful business and their staff. The music was also perfectly picked and perfect volume to not be too loud or quiet.
This was my first time at this restaurant. It is a quaint creole seafood restaurant in the Cypress area.Thervice was good and there was some execution mishaps. However, it is worth a second look as we all have one of those days! Stay tuned for my next review!
Place is well maintained and customer service is great! Food… well… hush puppies were really tasty and crunchy, my partner ordered a catfish Po’ Boy and I ordered seafood gumbo. The gumbo was overly watery and quite bitter, the rice wasn’t great either… he only got half a sandwich too. Server was very friendly though. Unfortunately wont be eating here again.
Everything was delicious. We had boudin balls, Mamou shrimp dip, creole pasta, the Cajun executioner (fried catfish & red beans and rice), and beignets. It was all fantastic. Also, our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back to try other menu items!
The gumbo and service was awesome. The Creole gumbo is best in Houston.
