If your elder is banking with Fremont Bank, I strongly recommend pulling their funds and leaving immediately. My grandmother banked with them for over 40 years. In the last decade, she and my grandfather were scammed by three separate groups of people. The final incident was the most devastating. they are rude and honestly made cashing a check my client gave me a struggle. what would normal take about 4 minutes took an hour. keep in mind there was one other client in the bank at the time. they tried to make open an account just to cash a check.
