Update to my June 4, 2023 review of Freeway Chevrolet. On the morning of June 5 I received a call from Mr. Chuck Meyers, General Sales Manager for Freeway Chevrolet being concerned about what happened when I tried to purchaser a new car. He listened to my complaint as to how I was treated and then made a very concerted effort to establish a price close to the advertised price online. If I could give a zero star I would. I spent 5 hours and drove 60 miles round trip to be used, abused and insulted during a cash offer to purchase a new car. They advertised the new car online for a MSRP of $48,885 with $1750 savings for a sales price of $47,135. After driving the car and ready to deal I thought ok I could try negotiating a lower price than the $47,135 or just pay full price of $47,135 plus tax, doc fees and license. BUYER BEWARE! I am a 73-year-old USMC Vietnam veteran. I have an 8-year-old adopted daughter with a pacemaker. The good people at Freeway Chevrolet met my daughter. That did not stop them from defrauding me of thousands of dollars in items they charged me for but did not provide. Study the Retail Order for a Motor Vehicle attached. The items marked in red were not provided, the items in blue were wildly overcharged. I was never shown this document but had to obtain it from the financing Credit Union.
