Britelock is poorly managed, of which there is no staff on site. Every time they do some internal system change, they don't notify the customer, and they lose all your info in the process. For example, they recently switched payments over to Uhaul and messed up the autopay system, finding out today that my bill was late because BRITELOCK turned off my autopay. If I can find some time this summer, I will move my stuff over to a more professional storage facility. This place is a joke.
Since they failed to get me to buy into their bogus insurance scam, they just raised my rent. Pretty sneaky.
Great place if you're out of options. There is no on-site staff, and since the new management took over, they increase prices what seems like monthly. Be sure to bring your ice skates, this place has some great ice, always - The layout makes it a bit sketchy with a trailer, and the ice build up. *Me problem* - For those that are forgetful, and on a budget - their collection practices are extremely aggressive. I have had a unit here for 4+ years. In the last two years alone I have had 5 RENT INCREASES, but even more increases that I didn't take the time to investigate. I believe they take advantage of people's situation knowing how difficult it is to move in and out of storage units. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for storage needs! I have also dealt with mouse infestation in the unit which isn't impossible to understand but just one more mark against this company.
