Very bad experience. No staff for over a month. No one answers phones. Phones are out of service. Gate codes have stopped working. If you are an existing customer you should get your belongings to a safer storage facility that has some on-site staff, even if at least just part time.
BEEN LOCKED OUT FOR DAYS NO ACCESS. NOT ACCEPTABLE. PHONE OUT OF SERVICE. I"VE EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE. BAD BUSINESS. I'd stay clear of them.
Would give zero stars if I could. Raised rates from $131 to more than $170 in less than a year. Was only notified about one rate increase, but had three in total that I can identify, two of which administered prior to the notice of rate increase. Still waiting to hear how they account for these price discrepancies. Horrendous, unsupportive customer service. So much dirt came through the bottom of my unit - much more than a casual dusting - took me hours to clean (my items had been stored approx. 9 months so this much dirt sh... read more
Britelock is poorly managed, of which there is no staff on site. Every time they do some internal system change, they don't notify the customer, and they lose all your info in the process. For example, they recently switched payments over to Uhaul and messed up the autopay system, finding out today that my bill was late because BRITELOCK turned off my autopay. If I can find some time this summer, I will move my stuff over to a more professional storage facility. This place is a joke.
Since they failed to get me to buy into their bogus insurance scam, they just raised my rent. Pretty sneaky.
