The people that work here are the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever done business with. For example they hang up on you and don't let you talk. They play the blame game they put it on the supervisor who conveniently is never there. While you're on the phone with them they say they can't help you so you should send an email. But as we all know the Monopoly of utilities is nothing common folk have any say against.
The lady who answered the phone for Freeport Electric, Suzanne Pascual, was condescending and rude. I highly recommend going in person with your bill and talking to someone else if possible. I tried to be kind and clear in my questions, but she consistently interrupted me to answer in quick, clipped responses. I struggled to understand what she was saying because she was going so fast and I could tell she had no patience for me as I tried to understand my billing. Probably the best reason to have a business in the Village of Freeport. We had an issue recently and called them. Within 5 minutes a truck arrived and 10 minutes later the worker diagnosed the problem and told us that he would need assistance , but he was confident they would be able to fix it shortly and get us up and running. Within 10 minutes, two more bucket trucks appeared and they solved the problem within 30 minutes. Outstanding service!
