Not only are all of the products I've ever had from this bakery incredibly delicious, but I also applaud the, apparently controversial, Ken Cake for being absolutely fabulous, and the owners of this bakery for not letting people's ignorance and hatred get them down. Keep doing you Freeport Bakery, you've got a customer for life in me!
The Ken doll cake is a winner, and if you weren't all the way across the country, I would come in and buy one for for giggles. Pay no attention to the small-minded minority - or just tell them it's an Ann Coulter cake! 😄
I used to live down the road from Freeport and it was excellent then and it's excellent now, but since seeing the Ken cake and the graciousness and class with which the owners handled the ridiculous backlash, I think I'll make the 30-minute drive back to Freeport. Thank you for being an example of how businesses should work in their communities.

I have been going to Freeport Bakery for decades! The Shadow Fresa is my yearly birthday cake. I order desserts and rolls for the holidays from here as well. Fantastic locally owned bakery.
Freeport is where we go for cakes for the important moments in my family's life. It's also where we go when we're looking for a sweet treat "just because." Every single thing I have eaten there has been pleasing to the eye and even more pleasing to the palate. It is truly a Sacramento treasure.
