Went in today as a walk in and was so happy to have repair work and cleaning done right away. I left a very happy customer I got exactly what I wanted and the owner is a lovely lady 💝

Five Garneau community friends were discussing South-side community jewelry and watch repair service providers. Freeman's was considered the best value with many years of excellent service...However, the owners recently (2026?) sold the business. We wish the new owner every opportunity to earn our business, so far I received good service/value on replacement of my watch battery.

They sounded very professional on the phone, the lady at the front desk was very nice. They charged a very resonable price to remount and add prongs to the pearl on my engagement ring. It's sterling silver and a pearl, so I am very thankful that they would work with me at all. Maybe I'm a perfectionist, but the final product is VERY Asymetrical, and the prongs are different lengths, and different spacing apart. One prong is slightly bent at the tip.
