I was having back pain and numbness in my right hand after moving to Ithaca and doing a lot of lifting. I was fortunate to find Freeman Chiropractic Wellness. During my initial visit Dr. Freeman took his time and was able to alleviate both the back pain and associated numbness in my right hand. He also noted that I had right leg shortening. Freeman chiropractic has helped me on multiple visits. I really appreciate Dr. Spencer's caring soft tissue approach that prioritizes getting you better rather than requiring multiple long term follow ups. I also appreciate his focused care that does not always involve manipulation and is far from the "rack em and crack em" approach of some providers. I had shoulder and neck pain for years, and many times it prevented me from working efficiently. I have tried physical therapy and massage at many places until Dr. Freeman helped me. What I realized is that physical therapy is about finding which muscles are causing the problem and fixing them in the right way (stretching or enhancing its strength). Love Dr. Freeman - I've had fabulous care with him, and I also felt so cared for. More than just his expertise, I really appreciate his bedside manner, and his attention, which is both generous and affirming. Dr. Freeman treated my neck and feet, where I store a lot of stress, and I left his office feeling relived in both. Can't recommend Dr. Freeman enough!

My wife just had her first session with Dr Freeman. He's super knowledgeable and friendly, very patient-conscious, seems very skilled and up to date on modern therapies. My wife had a stroke a few years ago and needs a wheelchair. Her neck started bothering her 2-3 weeks ago, finally got bad enough to need help. Dr Freeman did a great job taking her history and focusing on the important parts, did an evaluation of her neck and shoulders, and then did about 15 minutes of therapies from massage to a little "thumping" tool.
