Get overs they give you a beat up car and expect it to come back brand new
2016 we leased a 2006 Ford Five Hundred SEL , on 9/23/2019 our lease ended we paid over 20 GRAND for this car that is not even worth 1,000$ . Our contract stated the value at the end of the lease to own the car would be 2,700$ well they wanted over 3 Grand ! Refused to work with us attempting to buy the car out not only that but when we signed for this lease we were told it would be reported to my credit, NOT ONCE IN 3 years did they report it to my credit but I was told at the end of the lease to get a letter of completion ... read more
So after almost 2 years of paying on the car I got into a small accident which totaled my car, keep in mind I only owed 400 dollars left on it before I could buy out my lease freedom rides informs me that thier in house insurance is only liability so now they want me to pay a 1000 deductible while I have no car they didn’t offer any help as far as putting me into another car, and then to top it all off they still charged me my car payment 2 weeks after the accident! When purchasing a vehicle they will tell you it’s only this low price. After you call in to see how much you have left on the car they tell you literally triple the price of the car you were originally told to pay. The sales people will lie about every aspect of the deal and with a smile on thier face as they are to ignorant to understand the complexities of explaining to the customer what they will be actually paying.
My husband and I stopped in to get a price for two pickup trucks in Dover Freedom Rides. We told the woman we wanted to pay cash. The customer service rep told us they don't DO cash sales! What kind of car dealership is this? We were also asked when we came in IF we were familiar with THE PROGRAM! So we walked out of there without a price and VERY disgusted. Our credit rating is wonderful and I understand that people with not so good credit need somewhere to go to purchase a car BUT this is ridiculous! I guess the two trucks... read more

The Freedom Rides Program is a leasing program. At the end of the lease contract you have the choice to turn the vehicle in and walk away or purchase the vehicle for residual value. We do not sell cars for cash. Our mission is to help people make a positive future by providing simple and flexible personal transportation solutions.
This business is terrible. They do not take care of their customers. Their vehicles break down. The don't give you a rental and follow the lease agreement and then take you to court because their vehicles break down.
I love the car I was able to get with the help of Freedom Rides. It is so much nicer and more dependable than the vehicle I had before. The staff at the Seaford location was so helpful, and I really feel that they cared about helping me get into the best car for my price range. I am extremely pleased with the service and the great deal I recieved from Freedom Rides.
