I had an urgent issue with my son's wheelchair not charging, and Nick Aitken from Freedom Mobility Scooters came to the rescue on a Saturday afternoon with very short notice. After lies, lies and more lies, (as in 4 times container had been taken of ship from China) 7 months later mobility scooter was delivered with no working lights or right blinker. Cannot get responses to emails or phone calls returned. Under warranty and blinker is a sealed unit so needs a genuine part. $6000 scooter. Unsafe without a right blinker. Not as purchased. Now have to seek legal recourse and will be seeking legal costs as well. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
Used Freedom on my latest trip to New Zealand and they were a pleasure to deal with, communications were great. The process from pickup to dropoff was totally seamless, I would highly recommend them.
Would not deal with freedom as they leave parts off scooter and when you inquire they don’t get back to you
