I can't speak to the quality of their tools, as I did not buy one, but their sales and support game is nonexistant. Don't expect answers to technical questions. Don't expect to be able to find specs. Don't expect useful brochures. Don't even expect followup unless you badger them. Do expect the runaround and the brushoff. There's a reason these are much, MUCH less common than their competitors despite looking nice.

I cannot say enough good things about my buying experience with Freedom Machine Tool. I own a small cabinetshop and had been shopping around for a CNC router a couple of years ago and came across FMT via a number of posts on Woodweb which is my goto website for anything relating to professional woodworking. I saw all the rave reviews, got in cotact with a local user, went for a visit to his workshop to see a demo, and was blown away! The Patriot 4x8 was our 3rd CNC Router. We chose it for its rugged construction, the ergonomic simplicity it allows for putting sheets on and taking product off, its integrated tool changer, and the expertise that comes with the Machine's installation. Each of those features has already contributed to savings that, by years' end, will equal the difference between the price of this machine and the entry level machine that it replaced.
