Today we went to several manufactured home dealers to walk through some homes. Our last stop was Freedom Homes in Denison. We went through a couple of the houses but the rest were locked. The lady (who wasn’t wearing a mask, by the way) came out and told us, “We have all of the houses locked because of Covid. If you go inside the office you can have a salesman lead you through them.” So let me get this straight. If we walk through the houses on our own, we will get Covid. Sold a lemon! It was the lot model and they should of noticed the damage and standing water after every time it rained! We noticed our bathroom window had damage and figured the window was left open and rain came in, think again 😡! It is now pouring and rain is coming through the unopened windows from the top! 4 windows to be exact!!!! Saturated carpet, wet furniture, towels and rugs trying to save the floors! Buyers beware! We bought a home from then November 2018. Was moved to our land in January 2019 and we still have repairs that need to be done. And with the way it was set up will be doing repairs on it for the rest of our lives. I would NOT recommend buying a home from them. They make promises they don’t keep and as soon as you FINALLY get to move in after making several house payments on a home that’s not ready, you won’t hear from them again. they promise things and then don't deliver. Won't return phone calls. Buy their homes and then six months later they start falling apart or you have things that didnt work to begin with and their contractors make it worse.
