We would like to formally announce that Gettysburg Auto Auction is going through a change of ownership and a name change. We would like to congratulate Marty for all of his success over the years and thank him for making this transition happen. All employees remain the same, same auction hours, same operation. I do not recommend beware!! I purchased a green light vehicle during the auction a few weeks ago. During the test drive, the car started to smoke. Under the hood, there was a missing cap. The car overheated due to fluid they assured me that they would fix it and that it was a minor issue. The next day I picked up the vehicle and while I was on my way home, I could barely make it to my residence. The check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone. This vehicle had major issues. Chandler Sold a family member a car and lied to her about needing a simple part…It was good enough to drive home, 1 day later took it to a mechanic metal fragments in the oil and the engine is shot. Would not recommend buying any cars from this place
