Good food. Good atmosphere.
Free State is always a stop when I visit Lawrence. The food, the beer, and the service are always fantastic! This visit I had a burger that was served with the best looking, best tasting tomato that I think I've ever had...I even commented on it. Locally sourced product... Wow, so fresh and delicious!
I’m a ‘92 Jayhawk alum. Brought my family to Lawrence for the day. We chose Free State Brewing for lunch and was perfect. Watched the World Cup. Great food. Yummy IPA beer. Good prices. Super sweet staff. Thank you for a memorable day!! :)

Excellent food, great price and friendly service. It is loud and can be hard to have a conversation, but overall it's an excellent place that I would definitely recommend.
