Free people is my favorite store but this location is so disappointing. The staff has always been super courteous and helpful, But they just do not have much to choose from. One of the workers even said they seem to get the same older pieces on repeat. The only other option is in Bellevue so I guess I need to check that store out.
Was in the store on 12/30 around 5:30/6pm. Had a not so great experience with an employee who had black short hair in a pony tail working the fitting rooms and running. She came up to me and asked if she could start a fitting room which was fine, but when I said no to her she continued to push, which made me feel uncomfortable. The staff is absolutely fabulous, however, they just don’t have much compared to what is offered online. Free People has so many unique pieces and they are not really in the store. Plus, there’s hardly any workout wear from Free People Movement.
Staff completely ignores me and greets white customers.. all 5+ times I visited the store! I usually don’t bother leaving a review about suspected discrimination but this happened so much it’s becoming 🤡 I visited it so much because I loved the brand before moving to Seattle, and I shop in University Village a lot. I haven’t felt this way in any other store in UV.
