This place is BOMB!! If you read the menu you'll be fine. But here's a few tips. Write down your order clearly with specifications (1/4lb or 1/2lb burger and "doneness" you prefer) late your order at the bar. Fries do not come with the burger. If it did it would say so. Don't assume every restaurant is the same. That said. If you do oder fries they come as soon as they're done, and are treated as an appetizer...so don't scarf them all down if you want to eat em WITH your burger. I loved my cheeseburger but the fries were not hot, just warm. Went there at noon and it wasn't too busy, so there's no excuse for that.
Great burgers & pot roast -awesome homemade chips! Friendly staff, and a nice clean place
Really like the hometown atmosphere at Fred's. The history on the tables in the bar tells a pretty cool story. The great food is just the bonus. It took us a time or two to get used to how to order but always have had good service. Can't wait until my next visit for the deep fried pickles...those rock!!!
